Anthony Reneaud

ANTHONY RENEAUD, PE, MBA

Anthony Reneaud is a Professional Engineer and construction leader with over 35 years’ experience managing successful large-scale, high-stakes projects in the New York metropolitan area and Northeast U.S.

 

Today, as President of Renat Antren Corp., Mr. Reneaud leads the company’s services, projects, and mission: to create safer structures that are built to code, on time, and on budget.

 

As a construction management leader, Mr. Reneaud holds PE licenses in the states of New York, Connecticut, and Rhode Island. He is a Certified Concrete Special Inspector, Certified OSHA 500 Trainer, a New York City Department of Buildings (DOB) Special Inspector, and holds an SS 62 OSHA Manager Certification and Fire Safety Manager and Site Safety Manager Licenses.

 

Mr. Reneaud got his start as a math teacher in his native Trinidad, where he taught high school mathematics for over three years. He got the opportunity to come to the United States in 1985 and pivoted into the construction industry.

Over the course of three decades, Mr. Reneaud has led multi-billion-dollar projects for some of the most respected firms in the construction industry, including Tishman, Turner Construction, Lendlease (formerly Bovis), Morse Diesel, and Structure Tone. His roles

have ranged from Senior Superintendent to Construction Executive and Site Safety Consultant, leading teams and managing engineering responsibilities across disciplines and project phases.

 

Mr. Reneaud earned his Bachelor’s degree in Civil and Structural Engineering from University of West Indies and his MBA in Finance from Baruch College in New York, NY.

Career Project Highlights

  • Tiffany & Co. Flagship Store Renovation—$600 Million (Structure Tone, 2022–2024): Delivered site safety consulting on this high-profile Fifth Avenue renovation, overseeing complex logistics involving equipment hoisting and safety compliance in one of New York’s most iconic retail locations.
  • Citibank Flagship Renovation—$3 Billion (CRSG, 2013–2022): Provided construction inspection and site safety consulting on this Tribeca mega-project, including engineering design and controlled inspections. Acted in multiple executive and safety roles throughout the project’s lifecycle.
  • 40-Floor Office Tower (7 Bryant Park Midtown, NY)—$275 Million (Turner Construction, 2013–2014): As Senior Superintendent, Anthony managed tradespeople and brought the structure out of the ground ahead of schedule. He managed requisitions, led site safety protocols, and drove field coordination to meet deadlines.
  • Boutique Midtown Hotel (Hotel 31 Midtown, NY)—$165 Million (Renotal Construction, 2011–2013): Serving as Construction Executive, Anthony launched the project, negotiated trade buyouts, and steered all phases to early and under-budget completion. The project achieved a flawless safety record under his leadership.
  • Borgata Casino and Hotel Resort—$1.2 Billion (Tishman Construction, 2000–2004): Recruited from Bovis to launch and oversee this 4 million square foot resort development in Atlantic City. Directed the installation of over 4,000 piles and 1,500 pile caps for the hotel foundation, coordinated the 43-floor rebar structure, and led the construction of six casino-floor restaurants. Anthony remained on-site through Temporary Certificate of Occupancy (TCO), ensuring seamless execution and issue resolution.
  • Manhattan School of Music—$150 Million (Bovis Lend Lease): Brought this 21-story concrete building out of the ground and topped it off ahead of schedule, while resolving extensive field and architectural challenges.
  • American Museum of Natural History—$230 Million (Bovis Lend Lease): Managed the integration of HVAC and electrical systems in secured zones and directed MEP and architectural trades.
  • Pratt University Higgins Hall—$25 Million (Bovis Lend Lease): Led renovation of this 100-year-old landmark, orchestrating all architectural, structural, and MEP trades with an flawless safety record.
  • Rockefeller University Research Lab—$70 Million (Morse Diesel/AMEC): Oversaw the facade installation of limestone, granite, and curtain walls on a 15-story lab facility, resolving coordination issues to maintain scheduling.
  • Brooklyn Children’s Psychiatric Center—$45 Million (Full Spectrum): Managed all MEP systems from underground through occupancy, including kitchen and control systems, ensuring mechanical room readiness and system performance.
  • Madison Square Garden–$250 Million Renovation (Herbert Construction): Directed the construction of new locker rooms and resolved nuanced field issues in one of NYC’s most complex, occupied renovation sites.
  • Shearson Tower—$420 Million (Herbert Construction): Oversaw the curtain wall, elevator systems, and mechanical rooms on this skyscraper project through to TCO, navigating a highly technical construction environment.
